On the 8th of February 2024 we welcomed the Minister for Energy, Environment & Climate Action the Hon. Reece Whitby, Neoen Chairman & CEO Xavier Barbaro, state member for Collie Jodie Hanns MLA, Western Power’s Sam Barbaro, Energy Policy WA, Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), Tesla, UGL, Aurecon the Shire of Collie and our host landowners!

Attendees were able to see construction of the 219 MW / 877 MWh Stage 1 well underway & on track to support WA’s network ahead of the 2024/25 summer. A special thanks to Joe Northover, Senior Lore Man & Elder of the Beelagu and Wilman people for welcoming us on Wilman Country.
