- This service will be delivered by Stage 1 of Collie Battery sized at 219 MW / 877 MWh, with the project having approval for a total of 1 GW / 4 GWh
- Neoen has provided notices to proceed to Tesla and UGL, signalling start of construction for Stage 1
- Collie Battery will provide significant support to the Western Australian electricity system, enhancing its security and reliability
- It is Neoen’s first 4-hour long duration battery, its first major project in Western Australia and its sixth big battery in Australia
